MEET SARAH SANDIDGE

As a stay-at-home mom, I struggled for years to understand my purpose and to let go of my childhood expectations. I thought alcohol was helping me cope with disappointments. Instead, it was ruining my life, my health, my relationship with God, and causing me to miss out on precious, fleeting moments with my kids.

The day I looked at the wine bottle on the counter at 10am and wondered if it was too early to start drinking, I knew I had moved from social drinking to occasional “coping” to a full-blown problem. Something had to change.

  • "Wow, just wow! Great piece, Sarah. That 'Ground Hog Day' I will not drink today rollercoaster was SO me before I quit. Thank you for yet another reminder why NOT to drink."
